TIME GOES BY SO QUICKLY!!

It has been months and so much has happened in the time - time just goes way to quick. It never used to go this quick... did it?
Maybe once you hit the big 30 things change - or maybe it is having children??

The past few months - where to begin with the happiest news we have had in 2008 - on Monday 18th February 2008 we got told we were pregnant again with our second baby. We were so excited but really toned it down as we wanted to make sure this baby was here to stay. We told my mum and dad only which is very unlike us as we are hopeless with secrets.
We suffered a devastating miscarriage in July 2007 so I was a nervous wreck throughout the first 12 weeks. I really wanted this baby and for everything to be Ok every morning I was waking up hoping to be violently ill so I knew the baby was growing – instead I felt the same as I did when I was pregnant with Our Princess. On the days I felt good or great I would worry myself stupid that the baby had gone. But everything is fine and our baby so far at 14 weeks is wonderful.

We have also put our house up for sale – a very scary thing to do as it is our house and has so many memories for us – it is our princess’s first home and we love living where we are but we are running out of room on a daily basis and need that family home – only problem is the interest rates keep rising and very few people are buying now. Our suburb has decreased in value by 8% since November. So why sell now?? When I am cleaning like a mad women everyday with a toddler screming at me I just need to think of the space we need space!
To have a backyard and to be able to buy our princess who is obsessed in dogs a brand new puppy maybe for her birthday…

The past few months have also seen a VERY HOT March in Melbourne, Easter and an 18 month old eating so much chocolate, my big sisters birthday, my little nieces 7th birthday and S & I’s wedding on Saturday night it was such a beautiful wedding and she looked so amazing. MM was a wonderful best man and it was at a great venue with lovely food and wine – shame I could only have one glass.

So now I am back I will try and keep up to date with this blogging thing I am still not sure it is for me – I just need to find more time… somewhere.

A child in the Park!!

I always knew children love Parks - my sister's kids always loved the park from the minute they got there to the time we left. They could spend hours there but for me the on-looking adult I was over it in about 10 minutes.
What is about Parks - the freedom, the swings, the friends they meet on their way down the slide? ??
Well Our Princess is finally walking it all started on Friday Night at the "Relay for Life"more about that later. And the Park has become her wonderland. She says "Park" when ever she thinks about it and laughs and laughs through-out her time on the swing.
Its a joy to watch - but what if I have three kids - I will never be able to leave the PARK!!

FIRST TIME FAIRY!!!

While trying to clean out some clutter from our house – I made the mistake of opening the cupboard with so much overflowing towels, linen (cheap very cheap linen) my sister would not cope with seeing this linen and everything else we don’t know where to put; our princess spotted a fairy dress and was so excited you would have thought that Wags the Dog had come alive but no it was pretty and pink and she could not get it on fast enough. She stood in front of the mirror for so long and then got all dreamy on me. I thought she would never take it off. So this is her first day as a fairy and I think I love having a fairy in my house…

BIRTHDAY BOY!!

Quick before midnight hits - today is MM's 33rd Birthday (even though he thought he was turning 32 all week) and now I am in the blogging world I have to wish him a wonderful and happy day. He is a beautiful person and is a gentle soul. His day was a little boring as he had to drive home from a friends wedding which was 3.5 hours out of Melbourne. But tomorrow we are catching up with friends and family so after a few beers, I am sure he will remember his birthday as a fun day...
Happy Birthday MM - Luv Me

MY FIRST BLOG...

I have been meaning to write in a diary for years and every New Years I think I really want to start this year. I have missed writing about being in my 20’s, falling in love with MM, about buying our first home, about our first few years of marriage, about our 12 months overseas and living with my in-laws, about my relationship with family and friends (the dramas of life) and about all the laughs we had before we added to our us world.
I want to write about all my feelings during my pregnancy with our princess, and I wanted to write about all the amazing things she does like giving me kisses in the middle of the night.
I feel so lucky with how my life is but I have none of my experiences are noted it’s only what is in my head and my memory is terrible - really terrible.
So thanks to my sister who is a blogging queen; I am staring my blog and I am excited because I know I will love looking back over it in years to come.
